Managed Cloud

Skip the servers. Quackback Cloud is the hosted edition of the same product, with workspace plans and usage meters built in.

Quackback comes in two editions:

  • Quackback OSS - fully open-source under AGPL. Run it yourself on any Docker-capable infrastructure. Every feature is included with no limits.
  • Quackback Cloud - managed hosting on our infrastructure with four plans: Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise.

The product code is the same. Cloud adds:

  • Managed provisioning, billing, and upgrades
  • Per-tenant isolation on shared Postgres clusters
  • Per-tenant Let's Encrypt certificates and a default subdomain
  • Custom-domain support on Pro and above

Pro is the recommended plan. Annual billing saves versus monthly: $96/yr on Pro, $192/yr on Business, $360/yr on Enterprise.

Free includes 1 seat, 1 board, and 50 posts. Paid plans include unlimited boards and posts. Custom domains start at Pro. Integrations start at Business. SSO and the audit log are on Enterprise.

Seats

Cloud bills a flat workspace price. Each plan includes seats. You invite teammates into those seats.

  • Every admin-side teammate (Admin or Member) uses one included seat.
  • Portal invites for end users are free and unlimited.
  • Free includes 1 seat. Pro includes 5. Business includes 20. Enterprise is unlimited.
  • A pending team invite holds a seat until it is accepted, cancelled, or expires.

When every included seat is in use, upgrade the plan to invite more. You cannot buy extra seats on the same plan. Removing a member frees a seat in the meter. It does not change what you pay.

An invite needs an open seat. If every seat is in use, upgrade from Admin → Settings → Plans & billing.

Trials use the included seats of the plan you are trialing. Using a Free workspace starts a 14-day Pro trial (5 seats).

Quinn usage

Quinn ships on every paid plan. Plans differ by how much usage is included, not by which Quinn features you get: Standard on Pro, Higher on Business, Maximum on Enterprise. Free has no Quinn usage.

When the included usage runs out, buy a $10 top-up pack. Extra credit carries over month to month until you use it. Included usage is always consumed first.

There is no per-outcome fee and no separate AI add-on.

Plans & billing

Open Admin → Settings → Plans & billing to:

  • See your current plan, renewal date, and workspace price
  • Read the seats meter (members, pending invites, available seats)
  • Read usage meters for Quinn, emails, and API requests
  • Compare Free, Pro, Business, and Enterprise
  • Upgrade now, or schedule a downgrade at period end
  • Top up Quinn ($10 pack) or email ($10 per 10,000 emails)

A Remove Quackback branding add-on ($59/mo, or $590/yr) appears on the page. It is display-only until you can buy it.
