Frequently asked questions
- What is Quackback?
- Quackback is a customer feedback platform — your users post ideas, vote on the ones that matter, and follow what you are shipping on a public roadmap and changelog. Replaces the scattered Slack threads, support tickets, and stale Trello boards where product priorities normally hide.
- How is this different from a help desk like Intercom or Zendesk?
- Help desks deal with the thing that just broke. Quackback decides what to build next. Most teams run both — support tools for tickets, Quackback for the product backlog those tickets feed into. Pro and Scale can pull feedback straight out of your help-desk tool, so the same conversation does not need to live in two places.
- What happens if I cancel?
- One click stops your renewal. You keep using your workspace right up until the end of the period you have already paid for, then billing stops. Annual plans do not refund the unused months, but you can export every post and comment on the way out so nothing is lost.
- What happens if I downgrade?
- Your existing boards, posts, seats, and integrations keep working. You just cannot add new ones above the new tier's limits until you upgrade again.
- What's the difference between Basic AI and Advanced AI?
- Basic AI is unlimited semantic search — finds related feedback even when the wording differs. Advanced AI (Pro and Scale) adds summaries, sentiment, auto-merge, and inbound feedback from Slack / Intercom / Zendesk.
- Can I run multiple workspaces?
- Yes — every plan supports as many workspaces as you need. Each workspace is billed independently at its own plan, and they all appear as line items on a single invoice for your organisation.
- Can I self-host Quackback for free?
- Yes. Quackback is open source under AGPL.
- Do you offer a free trial?
